Since he joined the Ministry of Finance in 1974, he has been in charge of the supervision of financial and securities market, customs administration and trade negotiations, among others.
In addition, he accumulated various experiences in international institutions, Japanese embassies and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) , particularly in the area of international finance issues and economic cooperation policy.
